We were given fish feeds and sardines to feed the fishes (duh!). It was a cool idea actually. The fishes are separated according to their breed. You can swim with them a.k.a. do snorkeling but only if you didn't apply sunblock prior to the activity. Sadly, we already put in sun screen that time so we weren't able to swim with the fishes but no worries though, it was still fun seeing the fishes up close fighting for the feeds. Hihi. And wow, it was really pristine. The water is very clear and it's definitely a must see. Some people compare this to Calaguas but I haven't seen Calaguas in person yet so I cannot really compare. There are cottages for rent if you'll be staying in for the day, tent pitching is also allowed. We went to Lake Bulusan to have our lunch. We tried kayaking and I also wanted to hike but time cannot permit us because we still have a lot of places to go to. After eating lunch, we had a short siesta while some of the joiners ate their lunch. From there, we were asked if we still wanted to go to Bayugin Falls or just go straight to Paguriran Island which is the high light of our trip. Take note though that it's almost past 2 PM and we still need to trek in order to see Bayugin Falls. But yeah, in the end, majority decided to see Bayugin Falls which is well.. just so-so. It was good place and good time to have lots of pictures taken but it was getting dark so we had to enjoy the moment left before the sun actually sets. There's a place in the middle of the sea where you can see a 360 degrees view of the island and everything seems soooooo amazing. Everywhere you look is something to capture. Mayon volcano's amazing cone structure on the left and an endless sea on the right. And just like the typical Pinoy setting, there are also karaoke sounds all over the area. Cannot really remember. It was a tiring day but it was all worth it! I'm glad I was able to see Sorsogon. It's an underrated beauty actually. But of course it wouldn't be a more awesome travel if it weren't for my travel buddy in this trip. :) We retired early for the night because the next day, we'll be going back to Manila and will just have a side trip to Cagsawa Ruins. It was there when I had my first time to try ATV. haha! Maybe because I don't know what this province offers. But being my adventurous self, I thought that maybe this is a good time to visit this place. Exploring a place that's not so main stream is definitely fun. Our original plan was to tour around the Bicol area for Holy week. But a week before, the tour agency texted us that it wasn't pushed through because there are no enough joiners for that particular tour. At first, I was quite disappointed because I was already looking forward to see the \u003Ci\u003Ebuntandings \u003C\/i\u003Ein Donsol. Whale shark encounters are very exciting! Oh well. Maybe next time. And because of that, they offered a refund or asked us if we wanted to join other tours. Choices are Cagayan and Sorsogon. And we chose Sorsogon. We do not have enough time to look for other Bicol tours that offer whale shark encounters in Donsol due to our busy sched and because upon researching before, there are no other travel agency that offers such activity. The main deciding factor in choosing Sorsogon was the fact that we wanted to look for a lobster as Sorsogon is very abundant in sea foods. Haha! And because part of the itinerary was a stop over at Cagsawa Ruins. This is one of the most memorable trips I had as this is the first time my boyfriend and I are travelling solo together. Due to many reasons, we cannot really travel together that often. We departed at 9PM and arrived after lunch to our destination. Which is San Mateo Hot and Cold Spring Resort. Well, not really. Planned itinerary for that day is island hopping. But upon arriving at the Matnog port, there are no more available boats. So instead of being disappointed, we have to be flexible. It is also the go to places of the locals if they wanted a quick relaxation. There are a lot of guests during our visit. Maybe because it's a holiday and the locals also wanted to relax. Most of the guests brought their own food. Rents costs 200-250 depending on the size of the cottage. Entrance is 35 pesos. If you're planning to go around Sorsogon, you should include this in your itinerary. Not only you'll be able to mingle with the locals but also you'll be relaxed with the springs and nature -ish ambiance. There are two man made pools. One is a hot spring and the other one is warm. Both is relaxing but I prefer the hot one.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"\u003E\nI think it'll be more relaxing if there are only few people, but then again, since it's a holiday.. the place was very crowded. We stayed at Mahogany Grand Lodge. After resting for a while, we looked for a restaurant or a place where we can eat fresh seafood. But since it's holy week and a holiday as well, we weren't able to look for it. And actually, we really don't know where to look for it. All we know was we wanted to eat fresh seafood. So not to spoil the night, we tried \u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MangoGrillResto\/?rf=192873600754192\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EMango Grill\u003C\/a\u003E. Me and my boyfriend can both agree that their grilled squid is delish. Every second is worth it though as our island hopping and the activities we did the next day are very fun.
