Like us, celebrating my birthday in Coron and not minding the season even if it's not summer. BTW, beaches are a great destinations no matter what the season is. Yes, it rained but it didn't stop us to have fun and be in the moment! And there's no other way but to pray for a better weather the next day.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\nWaking up on our 1st island hopping day, I was already checking my phone from time to time to see if there's a notice from the tour agency regarding our island hopping.. if it will be pushed through or not. And it seems like God really loves me so much, our island hopping was pushed through!\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\nThe weather was bipolar and it's raining from time to time but fortunately, every time we arrive in a tourist destination, it will stop for awhile so we can enjoy the view. This went on until the afternoon, though before our island hopping finishes, we can already see the sun peeking through clouds! And since it is raining, the water on some of the tourist spots are not clear enough to go snorkeling. He is very funny and very lively! You will never have a dull time with him. Even when the weather is not cooperating, he is there to lighten up the mood. He is very carefree! If you will visit Coron and you happen to be one of his guest during your island hopping, then I must say you are already very lucky!! So to make up for the unfortunate event, the guides brought us to Green lagoon which we also enjoyed.\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\nOur first stop was \u003Cb\u003ETwin Lagoon.\u003C\/b\u003E It was called twin lagoon because it is \u003Cb\u003Edivided by a majestic limestone.\u003C\/b\u003E The first lagoon is where the boat docks. Upon approaching the lagoon, you can already see how beautiful the scenery is. The water is turquoise blue where the temperature is divided into two.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\nSince this is where the salt and fresh water meets, some parts of the lagoon water is cold while some parts are warm. And to be able to go to the other side, you have to swim through a small opening under the limestone. Once you entered the other side.. ta-dahhhh! The surroundings are so nice. You can already feel that Coron is definitely one of the best island and beach around. It's just beside each other. We snorkel in Coral Garden but since it was raining, we can hardly see the fishes swimming. They say you can already see the ship without actually diving because of how clear the water is. But then again, since it was raining, the ship isn't really visible unless you go under the water. There are a lot of fishes too that you if throw in bread crumbs, the fishes will gather and come at the crumbs.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\nThis made up for the not so nice experience we had at Coral garden. In here, we can actually see the fishes and the corals. This is also where we had our lunch! A la boodle fight! I've been hearing a lot about Canyon Cove but I haven't really got the chance to to stay in the hotel and swim in the beach until recently, when we celebrated my sister's birthday here. Though we didn't really stayed in the hotel, we got the chance to see and swim in the beach. We also went kayaking!\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca name='more'\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\nSo instead of staying in the hotel, we stayed in the apartments that are for rent in Canyon Cove. This is more suitable for us because we're in a large group so I don't think staying in the hotel is the best option for us. Also, since this is my sister's birthday, my mother wants to be the one to cook for her \u003Ci\u003Ehanda\u003C\/i\u003E. The apartment we stayed in can accommodate more or less 10 people. It is surprisingly spacious and very clean. Plus points for the beach front view! Just a 3 minute walk and you're already in the beach. Aside from the beach itself, the apartments also has its own pool but is until 8PM only. Not that I get to see it everyday but an hour or 2 can already get you to an amazing beach get away. During our trip to Camiguin, I was lucky enough to witness another amazing creation. This isn't your typical beach or commercialized tourist spot. Just your typical beach on a rural area. No fine white sand. we rode a boat going to the white beach and at first I was confused on where are we really going. Our tour package comes with a snorkeling activity so I thought we're just going to the middle of the sea to see the fishes. But I was wrong. What I saw was a stunning beauty that I couldn't believe such beach exists in Camiguin. Being a Pinoy, we're so fond of Boracay and Palawan. We already set the standard that beaches should be called beautiful if it surpass or at least at par with Boracay and Palawan. So I am not kidding when I say this beach is beautiful. And most certainly at par with Boracay. You must also be prepared for the heat as there are no cottages but there are umbrellas for rent. The wind is also cooperating so it's totally a \u003Ci\u003Esiesta \u003C\/i\u003Efeeling over here. Snorkeling here is also a must. You can hire a guide but you can also do snorkeling on your own. The difference is the guide already knows which part has lots of fishes. Minimum fee is P50 depending on its size and complexity of design. As for us, we somehow regretted getting one because it felt like we were ripped off. This design alone costs 100 pesos but even though it didn't get wet for a couple of hours, the ink washed off as soon as it gets in contact with water. It should last for 2 weeks but in our case, 3 days. The design is awesome though.
