Although it was raining in the morning, it didn't stop us from exploring this beautiful garden situated at \u0026nbsp;Balete, Batangas. Yup, South. And thanks to \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.ianthebrave.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EIan\u003C\/a\u003E, it was an instant road trip with him, Rae, and Atheena. Like I would always mention, South is so foreign to me that if you ask me to go there alone, I would probably end up getting lost. No exaggeration.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Ca name='more'\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\nAnd since there are many visit worthy places now in the South, I should at least try and memorize some of it to the best of my capabilities. You know, impromptu Tagaytay? Sounds familiar? Yeah. it happens. What I haven't tried yet in South I think is climbing mountains. Mt. Batulao sounds interesting. Calling all my adventurous friends! HAHA. It was a Sunday so there was no traffic and it was just a combination of chill and a relaxing Sunday morning (cue in Sunday morning by Maroon 5). For some, Marian Orchard is their side trip after visiting Cintai Corito's Garden (known as the Bali of the Philippines) but for us, it was our main destination for the day. Cintai Corito is just a few blocks away from Marian Orchard so no wonder why people visit this 2 places at the same time.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\"\u003E\nIt's just that you know, when you're broke as hell but itchy feet is itching, you just have to choose which one you'd like to visit. So we stick with our budget and let Cintai Corito pass.. (lol whut?!) Actually, this isn't the original plan, we actually planned on climbing Mt. Maynoba in Tanay but unfortunately, news about NPAs around Tanay is going around. Even though we want to, we can't risk being hostages. And while our Mt. And if you frequent Tagaytay, I'm pretty much sure you already heard about their Tagaytay branch. I also heard they have 3 rooms for rent wherein the rate is inclusive of breakfast. Talk about a cool bed and breakfast place. I haven't been in their Tagaytay branch so I don't know which one is better but basing it on the reviews I read online, I think it's quite a good place to visit too. Plus it is open freaking 24 hours!!! Tagaytay in the middle of the night? Fret no more!\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\nTheir Lipa branch on the other hand is their first branch. Let's just say that this is where the dream came alive. Chessy~ And as I was saying, upon entering, you will be serenaded by the chill background music. And by chill, I mean reggae and those beach songs I hear on Spotify. I also somehow felt some beach vibes here. Hmm.. Probably it's just the beach calling me. Lol! They also have a stage set up in front so I am assuming they have live bands performing probably on weekends? Music plus good food? what else can you ask for! I don't what does the art set include but it sounds like a good deal. For me, the only turn down in their food is that most of the stuff we want to order is not available upon our visit. And the serving time of some of the dishes are quite long. I've been hearing a lot about Canyon Cove but I haven't really got the chance to to stay in the hotel and swim in the beach until recently, when we celebrated my sister's birthday here. Though we didn't really stayed in the hotel, we got the chance to see and swim in the beach. We also went kayaking!\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca name='more'\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003E\nSo instead of staying in the hotel, we stayed in the apartments that are for rent in Canyon Cove. This is more suitable for us because we're in a large group so I don't think staying in the hotel is the best option for us. Also, since this is my sister's birthday, my mother wants to be the one to cook for her \u003Ci\u003Ehanda\u003C\/i\u003E. The apartment we stayed in can accommodate more or less 10 people. It is surprisingly spacious and very clean. Plus points for the beach front view! Just a 3 minute walk and you're already in the beach. Aside from the beach itself, the apartments also has its own pool but is until 8PM only.
